The Reality of Aligning Unit Level Assessment with Institutional Priorities

Many institutions are asking student affairs programs to measure how they impact institutional retention, persistence and graduation. The challenge we face as student affairs practitioners is aligning unit level goals, a focus on student learning and larger institutional measurements of success. We may be jumping into these seemingly disparate projects without a clear picture of why we are doing it and how it will help improve our programs. In this webinar seasoned student affairs assessment practitioners from Campus Labs and the Student Affairs Assessment Leaders discuss how this alignment can be achieved for organizational (and institutional) learning and improvement.
