Establishing Habits of Engagement from Orientation to Commencement — Moving from Involvement to Engagement

Students who engage in out-of-the-classroom opportunities are more likely to be successful and retained at an institution. How each student will find their way to these opportunities is less understood. This webinar explores the TAMIU Trailblazer Program at Texas A&M International University, a program designed to introduce students to involvement opportunities during new student orientation and guide them to – and through – those campus experiences. This program also provides realistic and attainable pathways to turn campus involvement into enriching engagement experiences.
